HR Round Table brings business professionals together. We discuss current or emerging human resource and business topics. We learn from each other and form networks.
HR Round Table is FREE and open to the public. We are HR professionals, resource partners working with HR, business owners, stakeholders, and key personnel. Every business facet can learn and contribute valuable information.
During each one-hour session, attendees discuss a designated topic with questions provided by NHRA. We share information, learn from other’s experience, and develop relationships that continue to benefit participants. There will be a facilitator to help guide discussion, but there is no required participation.
Round Tables begin and end promptly at the designated meeting times. Respecting participants’ time is important to us!

Leah Mootz has worked as the Director of HR at IGO Legacy Hotel Group for 4 years. IGO Legacy Hotel Group owns 13 hotels in the states of MN, WI, IA and MI and has 350 employees. Previous HR experience includes working as the HR Generalist at Country Manor Campus in Sartell, and HR Assistant and Trainer for Dungarvin MN in Mendota Heights. In her current role she manages all aspects of HR with exception to payroll. She holds the PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. She is a member of NHRA and SHRM and looking forward to the MN SHRM Conference in October. Leah volunteers with NHRA in the programming committee and Mentor program, as well as Mentor program through the Duluth Chamber of Commerce and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross.
Leah was raised Duluth and currently lives in Carlton where she and her husband, Tony, raise their 15 month old son Davin, and their cockapoo Duke. In her spare time, you will find her spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking and exploring nature, spending time with family and friends and traveling.

If you are interested in visiting the Duluth Federal Prison Camp to share a few hours of your time and expertise as a mock-interviewer on Tuesday, September 18th from noon to 3 p.m., please contact Betsy Hill at firstname.lastname@example.org or 218-730-5228.
The Duluth FPC is a minimum security camp housing over 600 male inmates. These men will be returning to their communities and will greatly benefit from the experience of a mock interview to increase their employment prospects and help them get on a path to being a productive citizen. _____________________________________________
